What Exactly is Organic?

Organic products have recently become a trend everyone seems to be part of. But what exactly does Organic conveys? According to the Cambridge dictionary, organic refers to not using artificial chemicals in the growing of plants and animals for food or other products. If we want to get even more specific in terms of science, then something organics means it contains carbon.

To make things easier, whenever someone claims a product is organic, they basically mean that it was made out of only natural products that are free of pesticides.

No wonder why so many people are feeling the pull of these stuff.

Still, because it has become such a boom among brand new products, the consumer should be careful whenever purchasing them. They may claim something, but you can't be completely sure about it.

Say for example with our business, the moment we affirm that our soaps are organic, then it means that every single plant, food or material used is free of pesticides.

Therefore, with any soap that requires fruit, we must make sure that the people we buy it from have followed all the procedures necessary to have the certifications of organic fruit.

That is why it is so important to look into the ingredients we are constantly exposing our skin to. Toxic chemicals can easily be drawn to our skin as it is our largest organ with a lot pores that absorb these chemicals.

So, here are 5 reasons why you should choose organic over commercial products :

1. Use products that have essential oils in them: these oils help clean our skin an add valuable nutrients.

2. Glycerine is everything: plant fats naturally contains 30% glycerine, helping to maintain or skin moisturized even after you cleanse it.

3. Silky skin: the use of organic ingredients helps prevent dry and itchy skin.

4. Safer or the environment: not only our skin benefits from these products but also our environment since they raw materials do not require toxic ingredients either.

5. Unique designs: commercial soaps are typically massed produces focusing on maximizing products while organic products are usually handmade that result in the varying of designs and textures.
